The Career is also better, while you still have a forced nickname (and a stupid one) again at least it feels more like "M圜areer" and not "Here's a clichee story full of racist stereotypes for you" and the additions like the chats with your manager or other player are at least fun the first time around and having team members show up on your court to play is great, at least there is some "we're a team"-feeling going on. Creating your own team, draft and manage is really great this year. Same goes for MyLeague which is MyGM without the manager part. MyGM is better than ever, they fixed most of the legacy problems (everybody becoming a superstar, you becoming the super manager who makes people better by just being around) altough the difficulty is still a bit too low but starting with a new team actually has some challenge.
So far i have to say that while 2K17 has a nasty "We want your money"-approach in terms of VC it also adds some great stuff to the single player parts of the game. (I have reviews for 2K15 and 2K16 that go more in depth) I have them all and NBA 2K15 was fun and a big step up from 2K14 (which was like 2K12 on my Xbox360)ĢK16 yeah it sucked big time because of Spike Lee destroying M圜areer.
